Hartwig’s COVID-19 Response
With COVID-19 continuing to cause disruption in our world, we are making necessary adjustments to ensure that we can do our part so that you can keep your operations up and running smoothly.
Our team at Hartwig has created a COVID-19 plan to address the needs of our customers while keeping our employees safe from the spread of the virus. Here are the measures we have put in place to mitigate risk while continuing to deliver on our promise of operational excellence:
- Encouraging our teams to ensure optimal hygiene and be aware of social distancing
- Educating our team members on symptoms to watch out for and requiring employees to stay home if they are showing signs of any illness
- Placing a temporary moratorium on all non-essential travel and eliminating travel to high-risk areas
- Ensuring Parts, Engineering, and Service staff remain available to meet your needs
- Managing inventory levels to ensure we can provide you with the equipment, parts and support you need
We’ve been in the machine tool business for 60+ years—which means we’ve seen some challenging times face our industry before. Our mission at Hartwig is to help manufacturers control their destiny every day, and it is more important than ever in today’s state of affairs. Whether you are in need of parts or service support, we are here to help you in any way that we can. Please don’t hesitate to contact your Sales Engineer or Customer Care Specialist with any concerns you may have.
If you are finding that you need supplemental support in other areas of your business during this time (hosting web conferences, IT, communications, etc.) Hartwig can help you bridge the gap.
Our Parts, Engineering and Service Staff remain available for onsite support or by phone/virtual consultation. Thank you for your partnership with Hartwig and we look forward to emerging on the other side of this crisis together stronger than ever.
