This class teaches programming for subspindles, live tools, Y-axis, and balanced turning (4 axis). Many of the examples will use subprograms and simple variables. Prerequisites Completion of the Intro/Basic OSP classes or equivalent experience.

Basic programming format with the goal of students being able to write basic milling and drilling programs for vertical and horizontal machining centers. Prerequisites An entry level knowledge of milling, drilling, and simple math skills.

Class will provide a basic understanding of the flow of Okuma’s “Advanced One Touch”® and students will be able to create single turret programs. Prerequisites Simple computer skills and an understanding of turning.
