Hartwig, Inc. Launches Technical Service Call Center

Midwest largest Machine Tool Distributor launches technical service call center

Hartwig, Inc. Achieves Platinum Level Distributor

With 100% participation, Hartwig, Inc. set out as a team to be awarded a Platinum Distributor from Okuma. For the last six to seven months, we were evaluated in a variety of areas including; the percentage of parts we shipped from inventory, our service engineers were tested on their knowledge, the number of service engineers within our company versus units installed, a professional customer survey taken by Okuma, and participation in the Okuma Apprentice Program.  As a company, we purchased additional parts, including drives, ball screws and motors, we had three people attend York Tech, Ron Sobanek led our service team through rigorous testing and pre-qualification of the test, and our parts department set new goals so that we could win this prestigious award.  The end result is our customers will continue to receive the best support from Hartwig and Okuma, and that is what we are all about.
